Annual Tribe Fitness Challenge Held at Blue Claws Stadium with Sets Hybrid Training

Every year, Sets hybrid training hosts a fitness challenge called Tribe in different venues. This time, it was at Blue Claws Stadium with a turnout this year. The Tribe Fitness Challenge exists to provide a platform for participants to test themselves and shine. This course is built with grueling strength stations and relentless cardio, all built to break your mind, body and spirit down.

There are eight zones you have to complete in this challenge, starting zone one a 25 calories assault bike. Zone two is 20 burpee box overs (24" men/20 women.) Zone three is a 750-meter ski. Zone four is 30 ram snatches (44lb men/ 33Ib women.) Zone five 750 meters row into zone six, which is a 100-meter bear crawl. Zone seven 100-meter farmer carry (45Ib Kb's men/ 25Ib Kb's women.) Zone 8 100-meter is a sled push (255Ibs men/160Ib women) into a 50-yard sprint to finish line.

It's a tough challenge but can be done if you put your mind to it from the start. The options for Tribe are elite singles, elite doubles, open singles and open doubles with different timings that people can choose from. Some people usually get between 30 minutes to an hour and a half. Today's event at Blue Claws Stadium had a top score under 40 minutes. You have to pace yourself, breathe, take breaks if needed, stay focused and don't give up.

Shout-Out to Blue Claws Stadium and staff members for making this annual Tribe Fitness Challenge with Sets happen today, especially with the rain coming down in the morning. Throughout the day, it got clear and eventually got sunny at the end. They had it well organized as some things were set up yesterday with volunteers at every station and a map of the course if you get lost. The bleacher run at Blue Claws Stadium was taken out from the list because of the rain earlier today, along with lightning and thunder. The timings got delayed by 15 minutes, so that gave us more time to get ready and warmup.

Blue Claws Stadium is such a great ballpark to watch a baseball game, but it can also handle an event like this. They are all about family, making sure everyone gets situated, easy to coordinate with and amazing people that work there.

Sets Hybrid Training is family focused with locations in Jackson, Freehold, Old Bridge and Hamilton. Owner Anthony Kapasakis is the best when it comes to making Sets a great environment. He continues to grow his business as more people have been joining and did a fantastic job during covid with the zoom workouts. Kapasakis also did awesome setting up this year's Tribe Fitness Challenge with Blue Claws Stadium along with Andrew Kennedy and Stephen Dobbins who work hard every day to get the tasks done.

Also, a huge shout-out to the other coaches at Sets, Mike Varall. Amanda Daily, Shannon, Kristin, Rodney, Phil, Kevin, Lynne, Allan, Jabari, Will, Kate, Joe, Sabrina, Julia, Jahquin.
