The Bridgewater-Raritan High School Boys Bowling team placed second in the Skyland Conference Championship on February 1 at Warren Lanes in Phillipsburg.
Team captain Joe D’Elia delivered the highest game of the championship with a score of 254 and produced the high series with a total of 640. He contributed to the final season’s score of 2598 by Bridgewater-Raritan High School, which placed second to Warren Hills Regional High School, as they won the championship title with a score of 2888.
Coach Kathie DeBonis made this statement after the second-place award was announced: “As a team, it was a real solid performance by all. Today’s (February 1) success was a culmination of the season’s hard work and dedication to excel."
