On January 20, 2023, FDU-Florham Women’s Swimming senior Sarah Dougherty broke the school record in the 200-breaststroke at their dual meet at Arcadia University, although the team lost by a 160-92 final.
Dougherty, a Kinnelon, NJ native, won first place in the 200-breaststroke with a time of 2:34.61 and currently ranks the eighth best in the conference. She was also in third place in the 100-backstroke, as well as second place in the 200-medley relay.
Dougherty Continues Adding to Record Book
Additionally, Dougherty broke the Women’s Swimming record in the 100-backstroke with a time of 1:01.94 in her freshman year.
Sarah Dougherty is currently a senior at FDU-Florham studying Biology and will graduate this May.
