FDU Florham Men’s Lacrosse Defeated by Penn College

The FDU Florham Men’s Lacrosse team fell to Penn College by a final score of 14-8 on their home field on Saturday, Feb 18.

Sophomore Brendan Fabin scored a career-high of five goals during the game on Saturday. He also tallied three ground balls and caused three turnovers.

Sophomore Ricky Lewis and seniors Brian Stewart and Michael Stewart all chipped in the game with one goal each. On defense, sophomore Aidan Bonn and senior Lucas Berghahn had solid games as they each had four ground balls. Senior Trevor Arnone won seven face-offs during the game.

Penn College was led by Sam Hills, who scored five goals and three assists, and James Cella made 18 saves during the game in net.

In the game, FDU Florham held an advantage in shots of 52-34. Penn College had a 40-25 edge in ground balls alone and also won 18 of the 26 faceoffs.

FDU Florham will have their next game at Centenary University on Wednesday, Feb 22 at 4:00pm.
