NJ/NY Gotham FC has finalized a trade with the Kansas City Current to acquire Canadian international and midfielder Victoria Pickett. In return, the Current receives $200,000 in allocation money and will also get a 2023 first-round draft pick.
In 2021, Pickett was a finalist for the NWSL's Rookie of the Year award and had been successful with the Kansas City side. She had one goal and one assist in 19 games played last season. She debuted for the Canadian Youth National Team at 15 and has since had three caps for the full squad.
