Jersey Native Garners Patriot League Women's Lacrosse Preseason Honors

Hightstown, New Jersey native, and current Army West Point women's lacrosse junior attacker, Julia Gorajek has been named to the Patriot League Preseason All-League Team.

Gorajek was a key to Army's successful 2022 campaign and was named to the All-Patriot League First Team at the conclusion of last season.  She started every game for the Black Knights last year and led Army's offense with 51 goals.  Gorajek's 2022 season also included nine games where she tallied more than four goals, including a six goal performance against Holy Cross.  Additionally, Gorajek was third in the Patriot League last season in goals per game.

Gorajek Starred on The Peddie School lacrosse team

Gorajek attended The Peddie School for high school where she was a 2-time team MVP and a 3-time All-Prep A and All-Mid-Atlantic Prep League Team honoree.

Army visits Princeton for an exhibition on February 4 before officially beginning their 2023 campaign on February 11 when they host New Hampshire at West Point's Michie Stadium.
