Following her injury she suffered at the SheBelieves Cup, while playing for Canada, it has been reported that Sky Blue FC goalkeeper, Kailen Sheridan, has undergone successful surgery on her right quad.
"Surgery went really well and I am excited to start my recovery process," said Sheridan. "I will be pushing myself to come back stronger and better than ever! I am very lucky to have amazing people in my corner who will support me each step along this journey! I am already looking forward to being back on the pitch."
The twenty-five year old flew from Orlando, FL, where the SheBelieves Cup took place, back to New Jersey for an evaluation prior to her surgery. As of Wednesday, there is no timetable for her return to the pitch with Sky Blue FC.
