New York Jets vs Denver Broncos: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

The Jets are flying high these days as they defeated the Denver Broncos 17-9 last Sunday to win their fourth straight game. The Jets' young defense took advantage of a Brett Rypien offense allowing one touchdown. It was a dominant win and nothing else happened. Everyone was safe from injury and on to New England.

Oh boy....

The Good:

The Jets Defense: When they needed them most, the Jets' defense stepped up the most. The Jets' defense allowed only nine points, the least amount of points they allowed this season. The Jets' defense has been playing well allowing only 36 points in the last three games. The Jets' defense is completely legit.

Breece Hall continues to surge: Breece Hall carried the ball four times for 72 yards including a 62-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter. Nothing else happened. Let's move on.

Sauce Gardner's Rise: Sauce Gardner is quickly becoming a household name as he has another great game registering 10 tackles (nine solo) with three pass deflections. With that performance, Gardner was named AFC Defensive Player of The Week.

The Bad:

The Offensive Line Woes Continue: QB Zach Wilson was sacked three times last Sunday. That's not the problem as the Offensive Line suffered another blow. RG Alijah Vera-Tucker suffered a season-ending triceps injury. Next man up mentality.

Breece Hall: Well, let's address the elephant in the room. Rookie sensation Breece Hall tore his ACL and will be out for the season. What a major blow but the Jets acquired James Robinson from the Jaguars. The run game shouldn't be too affected.

The Ugly:

No ugliness in this game other than Breece Hall being out for the year.

Three Stars of The Game:

CB Sauce Gardner: 10 tackles (nine solo) three pass deflections

RB Breece Hall (before the injury): Four carries, 72 yards, one touchdown

CB DJ Reed: 8 tackles, (7 solo), three pass deflections

Next Game: vs Patriots on Sunday, October 30th at 1:00 pm
