New York Jets vs Seattle Seahawks: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

It's over.

The Jets' playoff hopes are dead as the Seattle Seahawks won 23-6. Despite the return of QB Mike White, the Jets' offense couldn't solve this Seahawks' defense. With this loss, the Jets missed out on the playoffs for the 12th consecutive season. With that in mind, here are the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of this game. Spoilers: There was a lot of ugliness.

The Good:

Tyler Conklin: The Jets' lone bright spot was tight end Tyler Conklin, who caught six receptions for 80 yards including a 30-yard catch.  He was the only receiver to show up in Seattle.

Quincy Williams and CJ Mosley: Other than Sauce Gardner (who will be mentioned next) defensive end Quincy Williams and linebacker CJ Mosley combined for 19 tackles. Clearly, they are the anchor of the Jets' defense and did all they can to stop the Seahawks' defense but the other defensive players didn't get the memo.

Sauce Gardner Road To DROY:  Gardner continued to cement his Defensive Rookie of The Year resume as he had four defensive pass deflections in this game along with four tackles. He is the favorite to win DROY.

The Bad:

Jets Offensive Line:  Quarterback Mike White was sacked four times for 36 yards against the Seahawks. Brutal

QB Mike White: White didn't seem 100% during the Seahawks game as he went 23/46 with 240 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions. He looked lost and just kept on making mistakes. The Jets really need to reevaluate their QB options next season.

WR Garrett Wilson: Wide receiver Garrett Wilson played like a rookie as he only had three receptions for 18 yards. Despite the bad game, Wilson has had a memorable rookie season.

The Ugly:

Everything: The offense, the defense, the special teams, coaching were all bad. That's all I'm going to say.

Three Stars Players Of The Game:

CB Sauce Gardner: Four tackles, four passes deflected

LB CJ Mosley: Nine tackles

Quincy Williams: 10 tackles
