NJ/NY Gotham defender Estelle Johnson was called up to represent the Cameroon National Team during the upcoming international window. Johnson will join the team ahead of the 2022 Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. Johnson has been a regular on the Cameroon National Team since 2019 and most recently featured in the 2021 Olympic Qualifiers.
The tournament will be held July 2-23 and two camps will be held in Yaoundé and Paris. The top four finishers in the tournament will automatically qualify for the 2023 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. Cameroon will be up against three-time defending champions Nigeria for a place in the World Cup.
