A win on Sunday against Racing Louisville FC will put NJ/NY Gotham FC in its first championship match since 2009.
"This is going to be a tough game for us. Louisville is a fresh face, which is both exciting and hard to prepare for. They’ve been playing good, aggressive football and have a great energy about them. We will have to be at our best for the entire ninety minutes," said Assistant Head Coach Becca Moros.
NJ/NY Gotham FC, who are coming off a scoreless draw against the Washington Spirit are more than ready for this new opponent. "These are the games that you play for, these are the ones that get us excited, so we are just really ready to go and ready to see what they have to offer," said Gotham FC defender Estelle Johnson.
Sunday's match-up is currently sold-out, fan wishing to view the game can catch it on Paramount+. Kickoff is set for 12:30ET.
