New England Patriots vs New York Jets: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Well, that was very very ugly.

The New England Patriots defeated the New York Jets by the final score of 22-17 as the Jets had a promising start to the game but the second half completely collapse as the Patriots' offense and defense took advantage of the Jets' foolish mistakes to steal a win at MetLife. There was a lot of ugliness to this game so here are The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly of this game.

The Good:

Sauce Gardner's rise continues: Defensive Rookie of The Year will go to Sauce Gardner at year's end as he had another solid game, he registered four tackles. Throughout the season, Gardner has broken up 23.9% of passes in which he was the primary defender. He will only get better from here.

Garrett Wilson's breakout game: Fellow rookie Garrett Wilson had a breakout game despite the loss as he grabbed six receptions for 115 yards including a 54-yard catch. Wilson has been absent from the offense the last couple of weeks but he is expected to be one of the primary options for this offense with RB Breece Hall out for the year.

Offensive Line: The Jets' offensive line allowed only two sacks in this game. Pretty good.

The Bad:

The Run Game: I know it's only one game but the Jets are missing RB Breece Hall. Newly acquired RB James Robinson only rushed for 17 yards in his debut. Michael Carter only rushed for 26 yards. Yeah, this team is missing Hall.

The Second Half: The second half for the Jets for this game has been bad and might have been the worst football the Jets have played this season.

The Ugly:

Zack Wilson's play: QB Zach Wilson played horribly this past Sunday as he threw for 355 yards with two touchdowns and three ugly interceptions. A lot of people are calling for him to be benched already.
