Highlights

Princeton struck early in their two-goal win over the Mountain Hawks. Tyler McCamey started in goal for the Tigers, and Abby Trainor was in the net for Lehigh.

Early in the half, Trainor recorded her first save. Wozniak took the shot, but Trainor got her hand on it to produce a corner. Another corner followed this one, but both did not produce the opening goal.

In the 16th minute, the Tigers got on the board. Senior Grace Sherman received the ball in Lehigh's half before she played the ball to sophomore Lily Bryant. Bryant then played the ball to her right to a sprinting Wozniak, who took one touch to put the ball past the running Trainor. The goal was Wozniak's second of the season and Bryant's third assist on the campaign.

In the 24th minute, McCamey recorded her first save. Senior Ryelle Shuey took the shot on goal, but it did not result in a corner for the Mountain Hawks. About three minutes later, McCamey was put to the test once again. Sophomore Corinne Lyght took a shot, but the Princeton keeper saved it in the end.

In the 37th minute, the Tigers got their second goal of the match. Wozniak was able to dribble down the right flank and send a pass to freshman Pietra Tordin who took a shot that hit off the right post. The ball rebounded in the path of Porter, who struck the ball once, hitting a Lehigh defender and going into the back of the net. This was Porter's first goal of the season.

The teams went into halftime with Princeton leading 2-0.

The Tigers tested Trainor right away in the second half. Tordin had two shots in a span of two minutes, but Trainor was able to save them to keep Princeton off the board early in the half.

The rest of the second half saw many shots from the Tigers that Trainor saved. Lehigh had no shots on goal in the second half, but a few missed the frame.

Princeton had 23 total shots and ten on target, while Lehigh had seven total shots and only two on target. McCamey recorded two saves in the net, and Trainor had eight saves on the night. Princeton also had four corner kicks throughout the game, while Lehigh had none.
