Red Bulls travel to face a Stam-less FC Cincinnati

In a season where the New York Red Bulls are dropping points all summer long and just started to find a way to get into a four-match unbeaten streak with 10 points in total, They will continue to make the attempt to climb out of a hole and into a playoff spot.

Their next opponent on their schedule is a road trip to Ohio as this time they will face a helpless FC Cincinnati who continues to show that they can't assemble a game plan and they are floundering at the bottom of the Eastern Conference table.

That meant the club fired their Dutch manager and Manchester United legend Jaap Stam was sacked along with their now former General Manager Gerard Nijkamp, as the horrible season continued to put them in despair. Since opening TQL Stadium on the West Side of the city at the start of this season.

Right now the Red Bulls are on a three-match winless streak when Stam was hired by the Queen City club. So as of right now, it's time for the Red Bulls to head over to the new confines for FC Cincinnati and get back into the win column and continue to add to this unbeaten streak as soon as possible.

"We realize that with my boys and I can also see the quality yes there are six games in 21 days and it will be a big challenge for us, this month. We need to find a good rotation for the next game and the right mindset." said Gerhard Struber, "It's very important I spoke with my boys about their next match and the performance we need to have against Cincinnati at their home.

"I have a big belief that this will be a big fight to make that sprint to get into the playoffs think it will be a difficult game for us, they changed coaches and they may have switched up their tactics against us, they have not had good form in their last games, but it's for u a dangerous game. but when we have a clear mind and prepare, then we will win this game. We need to bring our best for this game."

The play of Omir Fernandez will be key to this matchup as he has turned on the jets and started to convert chances to put the Red Bulls o the positive side of the scoreboard. Scoring three goals in these past four matches, you can see the confidence and the belief that Omir has shown as he might have been the solution to help the midfield to be the linkup to these results either passing the ball or taking shots into the back of the net. The South Bronx native has looked strong and positive since getting the nod to be a starter during this time.

Another young player who has looked strong since his insertion into the starting lineup is fullback John Tolkin, who has also played as a left-wing midfielder. A very versatile left-sided player who can defend, bring up the ball, and has been able to link up well with fellow left-side fullback Andrew Gutman during build-ups on attacking runs.

"He's been fantastic, you know he's such a young player. He's more mature than what his age is." said Gutman, "He is so technical  I can give him the ball without an issue and in different situations. he's very athletic and he starts the pressures but if the ball goes by him, I'm right there to clean it up for him. His offensive abilities like spreading balls around him, beating guys off the dribble make him an asset for us. "

So once again this side must be able to challenge and find ways to shut down FC Cincinnati's gameplan and proud the ball into the back of the net. For them to continue this unbeaten streak with three points is a must, if they want to continue to attempt to climb out of this hole that the Red Bulls put themselves into. Get ready for another possible big moment for the club.
