In conjunction with the Big Ten Conference, Rutgers released it's 2022 football schedule on Wednesday. Rutgers will host six games at SHI Stadium in 2022 including five conference opponents.
The Scarlet Knights will begin their season on September 3 on the road against Boston College. The following week, September 10, they will host Wagner in their home opener. The third and final non-conference matchup will be on the road at Temple on September 17.
Rutgers will return home on September 24 to begin Big Ten play against Iowa. Other conference home games include Nebraska (Oct. 8), Indiana (Oct. 22), Michigan (Nov. 5) and Penn State (Nov. 19).
The Scarlet Knights conference road schedule consists of Ohio State (Oct. 1), Minnesota (Oct. 29), Michigan State (Nov. 12), and Maryland (Nov. 26).
Game times and television networks will be announced at a later date.
