Rutgers Men's Lacrosse Advance To First Final Four In School History

Heading into this weekends men's lacrosse tournament NCAA quarterfinals live from Hofstra Stadium in Long Island, first game at 12:00 pm was between No. 6 Rutgers and No. 3 Penn. Today's weather was a big factor in this game with the conditions being hot close to 97 degrees and turf field. It was a fantastic turnout today with both fans/family being in attendance supporting Rutgers and Penn.

Ethan Rall Coming Back Home In Long Island And Scores A Goal For Rutgers

This game was extra special for Ethan Rall and his family coming back home to play in a huge game of his career. Ethan Rall scored a goal for rutgers to help the team in a big way. During the post game press conference, Ethan said this meant a lot to him, hopes this can help other athletes from Long Island succeed at the highest level also. For him to help contribute being back home is huge for Rutgers and his confidence moving forward.

Cole Danniger With A Career High Three Assists For Rutgers 

Cole Danniger came up huge for Rutgers today by helping the team finding open teammates to score the three goals he assited on. There is always other ways to contribute in a game and he did just that as Rutgers advance to there first ever final four in school history lead by head coach Brian Brecht.

Shane Knobloch With Another Great Game For Rutgers 

Sophomore Shane Knobloch continues his strong season for Rutgers scoring three goals today in the quarterfinal game against Penn. The midfielder is a great athlete that can do anything on the field. This tournament run will definitely boost his confidence for next season as one of the veteran leaders.

Colin Kirst Puts On Another Show For Rutgers With 18 Saves For Rutgers 

Colin Kirst who is a senior for Rutgers comes up clutch again with 18 saves. He is by far one of the best goalies in men's college lacrosse. Colin is putting up big time numbers as a goalie in this tournament alone. During the postgame press conference, Colin said he stays focused all the time during the game and knows what to expect as a goalie.
